Who Is SRT?

Sugarloaf Regional Trails is a small group of volunteers focused on conservation and the preservation of historic resources in the Potomac Piedmont/Sugarloaf Mountain area. Our website is supported by grants from Heritage Montgomery Inc.  We meet quarterly on members’ homes. Membership is open to anyone who shares our interests and commitment.

Sugarloaf Regional Trails is composed of citizens in the western Montgomery County area who are dedicated to preserving the agricultural open spaces around Sugarloaf Mountain. SRT is a 501(c)3 corporation and is governed by an elected Board of Directors.
